Trade page
Websites for plumbers and heating engineers
This trade sells two completely different things from one phone. A boiler replacement is researched for weeks. A leak is decided in ninety seconds. The site has to serve both without one getting in the way of the other.
What your customers search for, and the pages that answer it
Boiler searches are comparison searches. Emergency searches are proximity searches. We build both, and we keep the emergency route short enough to survive a wet kitchen floor.
Boiler installation and replacement
The biggest planned job you quote. The page covers combi against system, what a swap involves, warranty length, and finance if you offer it.
Boiler repair and breakdown
Written for someone with no heating today. Make, symptom, callout charge and how soon you can attend, in that order.
Boiler servicing and gas safety certificates
Annual, predictable and easy to book. Landlords search for the certificate by name, so the page uses their words.
Leaks, burst pipes and no water
The shortest page on the site. Number first, coverage second, nothing else competing for the tap.
Bathroom installation
A visual, slower decision. This page carries the gallery and the most detail about how long you occupy the house.
Underfloor heating and power flushing
Specialist searches with almost no competition locally. Cheap pages to rank and often the ones that bring the surprise work in.
What your work photographs like, and what we do about it
Plumbers are the trade most likely to arrive with nothing usable. Finished work looks like a wall, and a good repair is invisible by definition. We plan for that rather than pretending otherwise.
Assume nothing usable at first
Most plumbers hand over three blurry photos and a logo. We build a layout that works with type, colour and clear pricing, then improve it as photos arrive.
A ten minute photo brief
We give you a short list: the new boiler on the wall, the flue outside, the tidy pipework, the van, you in uniform. Phone camera, no styling.
Bathrooms carry the gallery
One finished bathroom shot is worth twenty pipe photos. If you fit bathrooms, that is where the camera goes.
No stock photography of plumbers
We will not put a stranger with a wrench on your site. Type and layout can carry a page. A fake photograph cannot.
The registers that matter, shown where they count
Gas work is the one trade where the register is legally load-bearing, so it goes near the top and near every call to action.
- Gas Safe registration number in the header, in the footer and on every gas page. Customers are told to check it, so we make it easy.
- OFTEC for oil fired heating, shown alongside Gas Safe where both are held.
- APHC or CIPHE membership shown where held, with a one line explanation of what it means.
- Manufacturer accreditations Worcester, Vaillant, Ideal and similar approved installer status, shown as logos with your warranty length stated next to them.
- Water regulations WaterSafe or equivalent, mentioned once and factually.
Boiler searches are comparison searches. Emergency searches are proximity searches.
Heating work often arrives alongside electrical work on the same job, and bathroom and kitchen jobs alongside building work. See websites for electricians and websites for builders if you cover either.
Proof, and its limits
No plumbing or heating site is live yet. Here are the two nearest.
Your trade splits in two and so does the proof. For the leak at eleven at night, the closest live build is The Emergency Electricians: eight named faults with a page each, a minute by minute account of what happens after you dial, the callout fee stated before anyone sets off, and the number pinned to every screen. A burst pipe and a dead consumer unit are the same ninety second decision.
For the boiler researched over three weeks, the closest is Mister Electrics: service pages that each earn their place, a clear price story and a written quote before any work starts. What neither build proves is Gas Safe. Showing a registration number so a landlord can check it in one tap is specific to your trade, and it is set out above. When a plumbing or heating site goes live here it will be on this page with its numbers measured on the live pages.
