Trade page
Websites for roofers
Roofing is sold on trust and photographs, and the demand arrives in weather shaped spikes. A site that is slow to load and vague about guarantees loses the work to whoever answers the phone first.
What your customers search for, and the pages that answer it
Half of roofing search is urgent and half is planned, and the urgent half all lands within about forty eight hours of a storm. The pages have to already exist when that happens.
Storm damage and emergency repairs
The spike page. It has to be live and indexed before the wind arrives, with the number first and same day attendance stated if you offer it.
Roof leaks and missing tiles
The most common single search. Symptom based, priced in ranges, with photographs of the same problem solved.
Flat roofs, EPDM and GRP
A comparison search. Buyers want lifespan, guarantee length and the difference between felt, rubber and fibreglass in plain words.
Full roof replacement
Your largest job. Long page, heavy on sequence photography, clear about scaffolding, timescales and weather delays.
Chimneys, leadwork and pointing
Specialist searches with thin competition. Quick wins that often turn into larger jobs.
Roofline, fascias, soffits and gutters
Frequently the same customer twice. Worth its own page rather than a line in a list.
What your work photographs like, and what we do about it
Roofers have the best raw material of any trade and usually the worst presentation of it. Drone footage sitting in a phone gallery is doing nothing.
Drone stills, not drone video
One clear overhead still beats a two minute flyover nobody watches. We compress them properly so the page still loads fast on site.
Scaffold and progress shots
The middle of the job proves you did it properly. Same angle at strip, felt, batten and finish tells the whole story in four frames.
Before and after pairs
Shot from the ground, from the same spot. This is the pair that closes the sale.
Guarantees in writing
Photographs get people interested. A stated guarantee length next to them is what gets the call.
The registers that matter, shown where they count
Roofing has no single mandatory register, which means the proof has to be assembled rather than quoted. We say plainly what you hold and nothing more.
- NFRC shown where held, with the full name written out because most homeowners do not know the initials.
- CompetentRoofer explained in one line, since it covers building regulations compliance and buyers ask about that.
- Manufacturer approvals system guarantees from flat roof manufacturers, shown with the guarantee length stated.
- Insurance and public liability cover level stated as a number. For storm work this reassures more than a badge does.
- Nothing invented if you hold no scheme membership, we do not imply one. We lead on photographs, guarantees and insurance instead.
The urgent half of roofing search lands within forty eight hours of a storm.
Roofing sits next to two other trades in most searches. Websites for builders covers extension and renovation work, and driveways and landscaping covers the outside work homeowners bundle with a new roof.
Proof, and its limits
No roofing site is live yet. Here is the nearest thing.
The closest live build is The Emergency Electricians, and it is close for a real reason: storm work and emergency electrical work behave identically. Demand spikes without warning, the person searching is worried rather than shopping, and the firm that answers first usually gets the job. That build cut the homepage from 75 files to 8 so it opens on one bar of signal, gave eight named faults a page each, and put the number where a thumb reaches it. A missing tile after a gale is the same visitor with a different problem.
What does not transfer is the height. Drone stills rather than video, scaffold and progress shots, guarantees in writing with the underwriter named. That is the work set out above and it is where your build would start. When a roofing site goes live here it will be on this page, measured on the live pages the same way as the other three.
