Case study 02 · Domestic and commercial electrical · Greater Manchester
The old site had no phone number you could tap. Not one.
Mister Electrics handle rewires, fuse boards, EV chargers and certification across Greater Manchester and Cheshire East. Their old site was a template filled in as far as the template allowed, and it was quietly costing them every mobile enquiry.

Worth knowing before you read the numbers: this is one of our own businesses, not a client. We own it and we run it. That is why we can publish what changed in this much detail, and it is also why you should weigh the results the way you would weigh any figure a supplier quotes about itself.
The situation
Three things stood out inside a minute of looking at the old build.
The page title was the words "Mister Electrics" and nothing else. No service, no city, nothing a person would type into Google. The little description Google prints underneath was about a different company entirely, the emergency sister brand. And there was no number to tap anywhere on the homepage. On a phone, which is where most of this traffic lives, there was nothing to press.
The menu carried 81 links. The site had 31 pages and not one of them mentioned a place, in a trade where nearly every search has a place name in it.
What we changed
We gave the site a reason to appear
The title now says what they do, where, and what the offer is. Twenty town pages went in covering Stockport, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Didsbury and the rest, alongside seven service pages. 31 pages became 48, and these ones have a job.
We made it possible to get in touch
Twelve tap-to-call links and five WhatsApp links, from none of either. A quote form on the first screen and another at the end. The number sits in the header and never leaves.
We split the business in two, on purpose
Homes and businesses now have their own routes through the site, because a landlord booking a safety check and a homeowner pricing a rewire are not the same visitor and should not read the same page.
We wrote it like the people who run it
Two brothers, a written quote before any work starts, fixed pricing, a twelve month guarantee. The homepage went from 611 words to 1,308, and out of hours work is passed to the sister brand honestly rather than pretending a family firm answers at 4am.
The result
Same story as the sister site. Enquiries and Google reviews have both grown substantially since launch. Again, our own firm and our own figures, so weigh them accordingly. The page counts, the link counts and the structure above were measured on the live sites and you can check every one of them yourself.
