One of our own firms · Formerly Mister Electrics
From Mister Electrics to Wired & Certified.
One of our own electrical firms changed its name. We gave it a new brand and a rebuilt site and moved every old address across so the reviews, links and Google history built up under the old name carried on working.

What the name change had to keep
Google Business Profile Performance for May to October 2026, as Google compares it with May to September 2025. The name changed on 15 October 2026, so these numbers show what the rebrand had to protect, not what it caused. Calls from the profile fell while visits to the website rose.
The brief
- Change the name without losing customers who knew the old one.
- Keep 100+ five-star Google reviews that were left for Mister Electrics.
- Keep every page Google already ranked and every link pointing at misterelectrics.co.uk.
- Grow from domestic work into commercial work and testing.
What we did
- A new name, Wired & Certified, with the strapline “No loose ends.”
- A wordmark with copper terminals and a W&C monogram for the favicon and small spaces.
- A brand system in deep green and chalk with its own type pairing.
- “Formerly Mister Electrics” in the hero, the footer and the search data, so returning customers know it’s the same firm.
- Reviews left under the old name quoted word for word, with a note saying so.
- Six new service pages, from PAT testing to fire alarms and a shop fit-out page built around their work for Cheat Daze.
- A phone layout that cut the homepage from 17 screens to 13.
- One-hop 301 redirects from misterelectrics.co.uk addresses to their new pages.
