Get the domain into your name
We help you ask your current provider to transfer it to an account in your name. From then on it’s yours.
Map every old address
We list every page Google already knows about and point each one at the right new page. Saved links and pages Google ranks keep working.
Build the new site
The same as any build from us. You see the first draft and get two rounds of changes.
Switch over
We copy your email settings across, point the domain at the new site, check every redirect and send a test through every form.
Done on our own firm. When we rebuilt the Mister Electrics site, now Wired & Certified, 107 old addresses were redirected to the new pages, so the links Google already had kept working.

Questions about switching
Will I lose my Google rankings?
We point every old address at its new page, so what Google already knows carries across. Rankings can move for a few weeks after any rebuild while Google checks the new pages. If anything looks at risk, we’ll tell you before we start.
What if my web designer won’t hand over the domain?
The domain should be in your name. If it was registered in theirs, we’ll show you how to ask for it to be transferred to you and help you through each step.
Will my email keep working?
Yes. We copy your email settings across before we switch, so your inbox carries on as normal.
Will the site go offline while you switch?
Your old site stays up until the new one is ready. Then we point your domain at the new site and check it straight away.
I’m still in a contract with my current provider.
Check your notice period first. We can build the new site while it runs out, so it’s ready the day you’re free.
What does switching cost?
The same as any new build. Starter is £499, Standard £749 and Local £999. Tailored builds start at £2,000. Moving the domain and setting up the redirects are included.
