The brief

An HMO manager needs two kinds of people to get in touch, and they want opposite things.

Landlords who want their house full and compliant without chasing it.
Tenants looking for a room, who need their own way in.
New rules on the way that landlords should hear about first.

Two front doors, side by side.

Landlords and tenants want different things from the same company. So the top of every page gives each of them a button of their own: a free compliance review for owners, and a room search for tenants.

Nobody has to work out which part of the site is for them.

For landlords

A first step that takes two minutes.

A landlord who has only just found the company won’t fill in a long form. The review asks for a postcode and a room count, which is enough to ring them back with something useful.

Fewer questions means more landlords start.

Before they ask

A deadline that gives a reason to call now.

Landlord registration on the new database is coming. A banner above the headline says so and leads to the guide on it, so a landlord who has been putting off a change has a date in front of them.

News gives a landlord a reason to ring this month, not next year.
